There are many things to see and do in and around the
Seward area. Plan on at least 3 days to even start to experience all the beauty and wonder all around us. Listed below are just a few of the many things to see and do.

There are a wide variety of boat tours of the fjords, leaving
regularly everyday in the summer months. See whales, sea
otters, sea lions, glaciers, and so much more.
The park is also accessible by Exit Glacier Rd. Sourdough
Sunrise B&B is located just off Exit Glacier Rd. and is only
10 miles from the park entrance. Drive to within one half mile
of the glacier and walk a paved trail to the face. Nature hikes
are also available.

Resurrection Bay and the north Gulf coast offer world class
fishing for halibut and salmon. The Seward Silver Salmon Derby is August 12 thru August 20 and is known the world over. There are many charter boat options with day and half day departures in the summer months.

Hiking trails abound. From novice to advanced hiker, you'll
find everything you'd expect in an Alaskan hike. Chugach National Forest , Kenai Fjords National Park, and Caines Head
State Park all offer established trails.

The Alaska Sea Life Center is a world class marine research facility open to the public year-round. See marine
mammals, aquatic birds, and so much more. A must see for the whole family.
